Who can process online DBS checks?

Online processing of DBS checks can be done by any organisation through an Umbrella Body such as us. We work with organizations that process up to 10,000 online applications per year. There is no minimum number. If you want to set up your own eBulk connection with DBS, there is only a minimum of 1,500 checks per year.

Online Smart Form – Built in cross referencing system and error checking systems ensure accuracy for every check. The applicant can only proceed with our Smart Form if all information has been entered correctly, including five-years of address history.
Status updates – Track applications throughout the process while we do all of the work. You can track the progress of your applications using an online system. This includes when they were submitted to the DBS and when applicants have not completed their forms. You will be reminded by us to remind applicants to fill it.
Online results save you time and allow you to obtain clear disclosure certificates faster. We will notify you about the outcome immediately after an application has been approved by the DBS. This is without waiting for the paper certificate. You will also be informed about applications that contain conviction information.
Recheck reminder – We have a bespoke reminder for rechecks. This will allow you to stop keeping records on spreadsheets about applicants who have completed their DBS checks. You can add the reminder to your company policy. It will notify applicants when their DBS checks are due to be renewed.

What is the average time it takes to do an online DBS check?
